Nostradamus - A Review & Discussion - US - IRAQ War I

I was sent the book Nostradamus - The Complete Prophecies for the Future by Mario Reading to review. I thought why not make a project out of it. So what I plan to do is take a quatrain from the book hopefully in order (be patient with me, I have a lot going on) and share them here. We can talk about them, discuss them or you can just give me your opinion of the prediction.

Subject - US/IRAQ War I

Quatrain 7/7

As a result of war started by the might light-haired ones
People will cry out that the great crescent of Islam is confounded
At night, on the mountains, those dressed as shepherds will die
Gulleys of blood will run through the deep ditches.

The author suggests that the "light-haired ones" refers to the United Kingdom who were the allies of the US in this battle. The deep ditches is a return to trench warfare by Afghanistan and it fills quickly with the dead and dying.

Thus far I've been pretty unimpressed with the book. He isn't telling me what other people think or what the translations of this have been in the past. He hasn't told me why this "light-haired" group might be any different than any other war on any other people.

I did a bit of searching and even though I had to search in for the actual passage (not the one translated by the author) I found that the translation is quite different by others.
