Working with new glaze is always a risk. Each clay body, even from the same company is different. Every glaze is mixed different, even from the same company. Glazing a dish from the same bottle can give a different result. The one thing to remember when working with clay and glaze is to not have an expectation. Forrest Gump would have better described life as a glaze fire kiln, instead of a box of chocolates.

This week I decided to start working on a new item. I love those little tart warmers that use the tea light to melt the wax tarts. I wanted to see if I could make a few. I ended up with a few of those, some spirit jars and two stick incense burners.
